A scroll saw is the perfect tool for cleaning up any edges from laser cut objects, any tight curves, or intricite wood working designs! To use this tool in NIS, members must complete a training that is limited to 4 people with a length of 1 hour. Our scroll saw is part of a 3 saw training that includes the Miter Saw and the Band Saw.    In this training you will learn the parts of the scroll saw, how to tension a blade, and will operate the machine to make a few cuts in some scrap from the shop.  We allow wood and plastic to be cut on this machine.
